scary forest poem

 Hi bloggers. Today I am going to tell you about my poem. First I had to plan. Then I had to Write it down. After that I put it in a cool place. Then I had to screencastify my poem. I thought it was fun to do my poem. It was fun to make. It had took me 2 days to make. I had to title my poem something that sounded cool and not scary. My poem is about a scary forest. We had to do to screencastify our poem 2 times to see what one was my favourite. My favourite one was my second one.  My favourite part about making the poems are screencastify it.  I liked making the poems.

Hi bloggers. Today I am going to tell you about my math. For math we are doing Geometry.  First  I had to count how many faces there were, then I had to put that number in the box, then I had to count the vertices, then I had to put that number in the box, then I had to count the edges, then I had to put that number in the box and then I keeped doing it. I thought it was really easy and fun.   My favourite shape to do was the cube. The hardest one for me was rectangular prism.

 Hi bloggers. Today I am going to tell you about be wise. Be wise is about money and keeping it safe. You can have have a deposit card and if you lose it somebody could find it and type in the numbers on it then you just take it to the person it comes up with but if it is a ASB card it has your code on it so somebody could get lots of your money.  There were 4 things we did. The first thing we did was Geoff held up fake money and we had to put our hand up then  Geoff pointed to one of us then we had to tell him how much money it was. The next thing we did was we had to pretend to take some wood in then pretend to wash the dishes then we had to sit on the mat. The next thing we did was make a shopping list then  go to the fake shop to get the food that was on the shopping list but we only could get the things on the shopping list. I thought it was so fun. We did this to learn about managing money.

farm trip

 Hi bloggers. Today I am going to tell you about my farm trip. Last thursday my class went on a trip. We saw lots of cows. It was really fun. It was Marks farm. Mark works on the farm. Mark and Gregg were telling us about a river. The river is called otukaikino river. They had brought a car and hooked up a trailer and we got to go in it and they drove with us in it. We did it to learn about otukaikino river. It was so fun.

Today I am going to tell you about my DLO. There are similes, metaphors and personification. I did this because I had to. I think it was easy because you had to explain what it is and come up with a example. It took me 2 days to make.  

geysers

 Hi bloggers. Today I am going to tell you about my reading. For reading this term it has been about geysers. Geysers are  a area under ground with a thing called a geyser tube and it is from the area underground to overground and in the area under ground  has lots of hot water in it and there are volcano rocks around to make the water warm. It explodes every now and then. They are dangerous so when you are going to watch one you need to be in a save place.  We did  this to apply knowledge in different forms. I think it was fun to do because it is always easy. The steps to making it are get the right shapes then put them in the right place then name them. We have new reading partners and my one Zara.

Hi bloggers. Today I am going to tell you about this year. At the start of this year I was scared because I was going to have new teachers and Miss dodds was bossy last year and she is one of my teachers this year so I thought that she was going to be bossy like last year but she was not this year but she was not.  Today we went to a truck.  The truck was for life education. I had felt happy because it was fun and a giraffe was there. The lady was called Keri. We did it because we learnt about our brain. We learnt what wham means. The w in wham means worry and the h is for hard what the h means and the a means angry and the m means mean.  Sometimes we had to to sand in frond of a wall and every time I was beside one of my friends Bella. My favorite part was when Harold told us some jokes that were really funny. Here is some photos.

My awesome reading about komodo dragons

 Hi bloggers. Today I am going to tell you about my reading. In reading we have been learning about komodo dragons. If you are wondering what a komodo dragon is they are the only type of dragon still alive and the biggest lizard . If you want to know what they eat they eat deer, wild pig and young komodo dragon. They are 10 feet long, 300 pounds, muscler tails and flat heads. They are so big and so long that they are ginormous. Komodo dragons can not fly. They are really big. They are really clumsy. They have been around for millions of years. They are powerful looking. There touns flick out and they yellow tounes There teeth are sharp. They are reptiles. They are giant predators. They are really big animals. They live in indonesia lesser sunda islands. People like to hunt komodo dragons to eat as meat. My challenge was making the song and making a picture of how people hunt dragons then naming every think. The steps for my picture was getting the right back ground  then making the picture then naming everything. The steps for my song were putting all my idea in.

 Hi bloggers. Today I am going to tell you about my speech. The steps to making my speech was choose what it was about my speech is about if I was principal for the day. The next step was plan what you are going to say the next step is write it down the next step is to publish it and the next step is to read it in front of everybody. I think that it was fun to make because my one is really good. We did it because it makes us practice talking really loud for when we are a adult. I had to choose out of be cybersmart or if I was principal for the day which I choose or what sport is the best  or why you should come to Yaldhurst Model School or future me. My challenge was having to write 6 to 8 sentences in each paragraph.

Reading

Hi bloggers. Today I am going to tell you about my reading. For reading we had  to make a picture of a farm, on the farm there has to be lots of people because the treasure is lots of people turning up on the farm to get  some of the treasure. The book we are reading is called treasure because on the farm there's treasure.  The steps to making the picture was get one big square and one little square  the little is green the big is blue then I used lots of little square and circles and put them in a big pile  then I got an picher of a big crowd of people then it was really good. I had liked this story because it was about treasure and really want some treasure.    We also have a buddy so we can comment on there work. My buddy is Sam.   We did it because to use what I know about the story and to identify the most significant event.

X Country

Today I am going to tell you about X Country. My legs were hurting so  much that my legs still hurt. I came 11th place. Last time we all got 1 ice block each but this time did not get an ice block. We had to run around the big field 1 time and around the little field 1 time then run out the gate then down the path way to the dowmain, then run around the tennis court 1 time then run back to school then run to the big field then run around the big field again and then run up the  shot to finish the  race. Wele I had whaded for the other classes to finish the race I was talking to my best friend Olivia.

Counting money for math

Hi bloggers today I am going to tall you about my math and we are doing math to get money and then next week we get to spent it. I think that the math is super easy. I have $11.50c rite now.  Every day we have 3 slides to do.

Hi Bloggers. We were all in a 7 seven week Lockdown because of the virus that is going around. The virus is really bad. The symptoms are coughing, runny nose, feeling sick and stay home if you are sick. You will know if you are sick.
