Geometry DLO

Hi bloggers.

Geometry is so easy. The first step is counting how many faces there are. The faces are the most flattest bits on a shape. The second step is counting the corners. The corners are the sharp bits on the sides. The third step is the edges. The edges are the lines that hook up the corners.  My challenge was counting the corners without counting the same corners two times. I am proud of this work because sometimes I counted the corners two times and I kept counting the corners until I did not count the corners two times.
Have you ever done geometry before? Bye.

  1. Kia ora India,
I am excited by your blog post. I love how you have explained the key vocabulary with the task you had to do. I can understand how it is challenging to not count the same side more than once. To make this post even better, look at the image you have included and consider how to resize it so that it fits inside the layout rather than being bigger than it. What do you think is the most important skill you have learnt in your geometry work? Why do you think that?
I look forward to reading your thoughts.

    1. To Miss Taylor. I think the most important thing I learnt was to count each corner without counting each corner twice. I think I made mistakes because it was boring counting the corners twice but I got an idea... to get a shape and put it beside the corner I started on. From India.
